PURPOSE:To monitor the normality of a transmission network and a subscriber's equipment from the subscriber's home side by providing the subscriber's home with a means for monitoring a light transmission output value from a light transmission part and a light receiving output value from a light receiving part. CONSTITUTION:An optical signal from the light transmitting part 4 is monitored by an optical signal monitoring part 11-1 and displayed on an alarm part 12-1 or a display part 14-1. The alarm part 12-1 or the display part 14-1 is selected by a switch 15-1. Optical signals from the light receiving parts 5, 6 are monitored by optical signal monitoring parts 11-2, 11-3 and displayed on alarming parts 12-2, 12-3 or display parts 14-2, 14-3. Thereby, the subscriber can decide the normality or abnormality of the transmission network and the subscriber's equipment by monitoring the alarm parts 12-1-12-3 or the display parts 14-1-14-3. |
