<p>PURPOSE:To improve purifying function and storage-stability of a liq. air purifying-agent, by mixing a high molecular substanc into a metallic, colloidal solution obtained by hydrolysis of main component FeCl3 and metallic salt as a trace component. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous soln. consisting of Fe(OH)3 as a main component and Al, Na, Ca, etc. as trans components is formed and a sol mainly consisting of FeCl3 is formed by hydrolyzing said solution. The hydroxide sol, that is, the metallic colloid is hydrophobic colloid and precipitates if it is left unstabilized, so it is stabilized by adding a small amount of high molecular substance to it to avoid the aggregation of the metallic colloid particles and to promote their dispersion. Thus, the liq.-type air purifying-agent, obtained by above mentioned procedure, removes malodorous, harmful components by flocculating and precipitating them, further by adsorbing them and the action of a metallic colloid catalyst.</p> |
