Packaging containers for liquid are made from a tube of flexible packaging material, filled with the liquid and thereafter transversely sealed and cut into separate, completely filled containers. According to this invention, in order to allow such containers to be filled with gasified liquids, liable to frothing e.g. beer, the liquid is kept under pressure during its transport to the bottom end of the tube into a closed space completely filled with liquid and defined by the tube itself and by the feed pipe which delivers the liquid.
