The device allows rivets to be set on the flexible flat material, for example textiles, leather or the like, in accordance with a predetermined desired pattern. The device contains a holder for clamping the flat material, an apparatus for the successive feeding of the rivets, an apparatus for the plastic deformation, including an upper and lower die set for attaching the rivets to the flat material, and a drive apparatus for changing the position between the material holder and the apparatus for the plastic deformation. The rivets can be fed individually and set on the material successively, the material holder being displaced relative to the apparatus for the plastic deformation with the aid of the drive apparatus in each case prior to the setting of the next rivet. |
