PURPOSE:To achieve high speed transmission, by transmitting N-bit data corresponding to different periods in the range of N-th power of 2. CONSTITUTION:When a 4-bit data is transmitted, the data is corresponded to a signal where the conversion periods are changed in 16 steps. The digital data are paired into sets of data in 4-bit, when the data are inputted, and converted into one period signal corresponding to the sets of data for output. Since 4-bit data can be transmitted at one period, the upper limit of the transmission speed is remarkably increased. The reception is made by measuring the length of one period with the reference clock. Further, one data set is corresponded N-bit as well as 4-bit. In this case, the periods of the N-th power of 2 are required. |
