PURPOSE:To designation from a panel and to achieve the designation of format accurately, by providing format designation function of a document to a facsimile device. CONSTITUTION:Image of a document photoelectrically converted at a charge coupling element CCD is transmitted to a video signal control circuit, and is binary coded and supplied to a compression circuit 23. The compressed signal is outputted from a line control circuit NCU via a modulation circuit 28 as a modulation output. A signal incoming to an NCU29 is demodulated at a demodulation circuit 30, the band is widened at a widening circuit 31 and printed at an print circuit 32. Patterns such as the alphabet are stored in a character generator 26, and when a readout circuit is operated with an output code of a processor 25, a data is transmitted to the compression circuit 23 via a switch 24. |
