Two weight-carrying bearing plates (3, 5) are present, one of which has a closed plastic or metal sliding surface of low roughness and high ability to slide, while the other bearing plate is provided with a plastic layer (4) having a low coefficient of friction which has recesses (14) which are open towards the sliding surface and are interconnected by ducts (21), and the recesses being connected, via the ducts (21) connecting them, to at least one lubricant supply duct (16) which is arranged in the lower bearing plate (5) and is accessible from the outside. In order that the use of special operating personnel on site and thus the mounting of scaffolds and safety devices for this personnel can be forgone, the lubricant supply duct (16), which is accessible from the outside, is connected via a lubricant pressure line (11) to a lubricant storage container (10) and at least one lubricant pump which is connected to one of the bearing plates (5) and is driven via a tensionally and compressively rigid linkage (18, 19) by the temperature-dependent relative movements of the other bearing plate (3). <IMAGE>
