The electric motor driven hand tool e.g. a hand drill, comprises inlet and outlet orifices, for when driven coolant air stream, in a housing, has an easily serviced arrangement provided for guidance of the air flow, the arrangement in no way degrading the cooling action of the air flow. Thus, a movably (15,15a,11e) is provided and has through-flow orifices (15b,15c) that can be brought into alignment with exit orifices (11c,11d) provided on either side of the housing (11).
