A hole (16) through the centre of the handle (12), inwardly connected to the tubular rod (11), has a bottom downward-tapering space (17) enclosed by sides (22,23), base (18) and outlet (19), in provision for operating a venetian blind, with rod hanging down from top case. A blocking piece (21), between one side and base, moves together with the cords (5) and blocks them against the other side when they are drawn centrally upwards. This permits free upward cord movement when they are drawn up along the opposite side of the hole. Hole and outlet may be partitioned into three lengthways sections. A relatively large blind can be raised concentrically without great effort, and cords are not subjected to heavy stress, and can be inexpensive.
|
