PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for decoders for individual input signal code formats even when input signals have individual code formats, only by initialization characteristic to a system for use, by composing a digital signal decoder of a data decoder circuit group and a connecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:Initialization is performed by a control circuit 21 with an external switch or through remote operation by using information inputted from an interface circuit 22 and a control line 23. Consequently, serial input lines 1-16 are each connected to one of data decoding circuits 24-28. Serial digital signals received from the input lines 1-16 are sampled and converted into parallel signals by a circuit 20 at an interface circuit 17, and a bit counter circuit 18 and the control circuit 21 perform comparison between new and old data and accumulate bit data; and the data decoding circuits 24-28 discriminate pieces of bit information succeeding by a constant quantity, and the circuit 21 outputs the discrimination result through the circuit 22. |
