PURPOSE:To exercise various kinds of special machine tool control by generating and registering a microprogram in the software of a numeric controller, and storing correspondence with instructions in a part program. CONSTITUTION:Many microprograms are generated previously by using the microlanguage of a processor 101 and stored in a microprogram registration memory 103, and correspondence with instructions in a part program language is stored in a correspondence table 104 in advance. On the other hand, the control program of a computer numeric controller (CNC) written with machine words is used to access the microprogram or to find the starting address of the microprogram, and microinstructions constituting the microprogram or macroinstructions are fetched successively to perform numeric control processing which corresponds to the microinstructions or macroinstructions. |
