PURPOSE:To obtain a reproducing stylus with excellent mass-producibility by reducing variation in contact rceiving area due to the abrasion of the reproducing stylus, by providing a projecting prismatic part, which has an electrode surface as on side surface, atop of a conic or pyramidal stylus base, and by using its tip as the contact receiving surface for a disk. CONSTITUTION:On one side surface of a stylus base 11 in a triangular pyramid shape, an electrode part 12 is provided and at the tip part, a part 13 in a pentagonal pyramid shape having an (a) width side surface as part of the side surface where the electrode part 12 is provided is formed, thereby using its tip surface 15 as a contact receiving surface for a disk. Consequently, variation in contact receiving area due to the abrasion of the reproducing stylus is reduced and the reproducing stylus has excellent mass-reproducibility. |
