PURPOSE:To utilize the space of a stacker effectively while storing documents stably by providing a means of shifting a group of document, stacked at some part of a stacker table, on the stacker table. CONSTITUTION:Small-sized documents 5 discharged from a reader body 2 are stacked on a table 3 in stacking space 6, consisting of stoppers 4a and 4b, until the stacker is full. In the stacking space 6, the 1st group 7a of stacked documents is formed and stacker-full display is performed. At this time, the 1st group 7a of stacked documents is moved by the width l1 of the documents 5 along a guide groove 14 as shown by an arrow X without being taken out while the interval of the stoppers 4a and 4b is unchanged. Thus, the stacking space 6 is emptied between the stoppers 4b and 4c and documents are stacked again as mentioned above. Similarly, three groups 7a, 7b and 7c of stacked documents are stored as shown in a figure to utilize nearly the overall width L1 of the table 3 for document storage. |
