PURPOSE:To prevent snaking of a strip by signal controlling of gap difference between left and right ends of rolls and, in addition, controlling by feeding back difference of displacement between left and right pressing cylinders. CONSTITUTION:The gap between rolls 1, 1 are detected by a distance detectors 3, 3' and the signals are operated by an adder 4 and sent to pressing cylinders 5, 5' through controllers 6, 6'. Signals of position detectors 7, 7' attached to the cylinders are operated by an adder 8 and the signals of displacement difference are sent to the cylinders 5, 5'. The gain of feedback is changed by direction of increase and decrease of absolute value of displacement difference. Thus, snaking of a strip 2 is controlled. |
