<p>Apparatus for casting and/or moulding vehicle tyres, more particularly motor vehicle tyres, having a multi-part mould whose cavity, determining the shape of the tyre to be produced, is bounded; from inside by a divided core; from outside by a top member and a bottom member. The latter are partially axially movable and co-operate to define the bead and side wall area of the tyre. There is a member which is subdivided into segments and which member moulds the tread area, of the tyre, the segments being attached to segment carriers which are displaceable radially in relation to the core area pivotable toward and away from it.</p> |
