PURPOSE:To easily clear multistylus electrodes of a toner attached, by making freely changeable the contact place of the multistylus electrodes in contact with a donor member for bearing the toner. CONSTITUTION:Multistylus electrode 5 for applying an electric field in accordance with the image to be formed on a donor member 1 for bearing a toner is freely changed in a contact place with the member 1 by means of a link 40 turned with a motor, thus permitting the toner attached to the electrodes 5 to be easily cleared, deformation of the toner layer on the member 1 to be prevented, so a good quality toner image tobe recorded with the donor member 1. |
