PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of the header by separately manufacturing the heat pipe of the header part which performs transfer of heat between the heat pipe and the heat collecting medium and the flowpath which flows the heat collecting medium, and bringing them into mechanical contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:The tip end of the heat pipe 2 is formed into a U-shaped vessel 7, and steam transported by a pipe 2 is led into the inner part of the vessel 7 and condensed. The condensed steam returns to the pipe 2. Further, the heat medium flowpath is formed into a flowpath 1 having a rectangular section, and a radiator 7 at the tip end of the pipe 2 is in contact with the flowpath 1 at its smooth surface. Both are mechanically contacted with each other by a clamp. By this organization, the heat transfer area is greatly increased, and the manufacturing and machining of the radiator 7 and the flowpath 1 become easy because both are constructed in the simple manner of rectanglar section. |
