PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation speed of a high-speed operating member of the camera, by providing a permanent magnet having plural poles and a yoke with a coil and by connecting resistances to both ends of the coil to damp the driving member. CONSTITUTION:A governing mechanism including a governing gear row which is accelerated and driven synchronously by a driving member which drives a high- speed operating shutter to a prescribed position is connected to this driving member, and plural N and S poles 29 are provided in a gear 28 of a stop wheel 21, which is driven by the last gear 20a of this gear row, as one body. When a driving lever is moved, the stop wheel gear 28 is accelerated and rotated through the gear row, and poles 29 are rotated also to change magnetic poles successively in a magnetic yoke 30, and thus, an AC current is generated in a magnetic coil 31. A resistance R1 is provided on the magnetic coil 31 to consume the AC current as a heat energy, and a damping force corresponding to the rotation speed of the gear 28 is generated to make the speed constant. |
