发明名称 ANODE PLATE FOR LEAD STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an anode plate for a lead storage battery in which the reaction just after the starting of charge is good enough and the reaction point is well charged in a short time, by containing fine powder of ligninsulphonic acid salt and a highly pure silicon in an anode active substance of the lead storage battery. CONSTITUTION:A fine powder of ligninsulponic acid salt and a highly pure silicon are included in an active substance. In this case, the silicon microplrticles which are a highly pure semiconductor are enclosed in the crystals of the lead sulfate which is the product of the discharge. Since the crystals of the lead sulfate are nonconductor, the movement of electrons in the electrochemical reaction becomes difficult as the crystals are grown, and the electron transfer is liable to delay. However, by the existance of the silicon which is a good conductor, it makes relay points to enable the progress of charge reaction of the lead sulfate around the relay points. The grain size of the added silicon is preferably to be smaller than the mean graininess of the lead sulfate which is at several mum order.
