<p>Improvements in Automatic Record Playing Apparatus Disclosed is a tone arm rest, for use in automatic record playing apparatus, comprising elongate support means to be located in a vertical spatial attitude, an upper end of the support means including capture means for releasably retaining a tone arm, and a lower end of the support means including control means for operative connection to a tone arm control mechanism, the control means being rotatable about a vertical axis to control the capture means in response to movement of the tone arm control mechanism.</p> |
