PURPOSE:To increase the contrast of an image by tightly coating the outside of a lens body with a glass body or a resin body contg. a light losing substance so as to prevent the leak of light from the outside of the lens body. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber lens 1 is manufactured by coating a lens body 11 with a light losing clad part 13. Light from an object 2 passes through the lens body 11 and forms an image 3. Since light leaked from the outside of the lens body 11 is absorbed in the clad part 13 and does not reach the image forming surface, an image of superior contrast can be obtd. |
