PURPOSE:To make an input data card checker applicable to any card input device, by providing a common interpretation routine to any description define grammer at the input data card checker to check the input data. CONSTITUTION:When an actual data card 4 is given to an input data card checker, a description item dividing circuit 5 reads out define information corresponding to the card 4 out of card description information described in a card description defining table 3, classifies character train described on the card 4 and picks up corresponding items. This item is stored in an item pickup table 6, and a card description collating check circuit 7 compares the description item of the table 6 with the card description information of the table 3. As a result, when a disagreed part is detected, error information is outputted to an error message table 8, and when it is coincident, the content of the description item corresponding is made significant in order of item definition of the card description definition information to be transferred on a table 9. |
