<p>PURPOSE:To avoid deformation by performing expansion and/or contraction without changing the shape of each section pattern obtained by sectioning a reference figure. CONSTITUTION:For the contraction of a reference figure pattern PATT, of, for example, 32-by-32 dot constitution to a figure pttern 13 of 24-by-24 dot constitution, the reference figure pattern PATT is sectioned into 8 by 8 section patterns 14. Each section pattern 14 is expanded by 3/4 time to obtain a converted section pattern 14' thus forming the whole contracted figure pattern 13. Namely, the section pattern 14 has 4-by-4 dot size, and the converted section pattern 14' obtained by expanding the section pattern 14 by 3/4 time has 3-by-3 dot size; and the contracted pattern obtained by gathering 64 converted section patterns 14' has 24-by-24 dot size.</p> |
