PURPOSE:To achieve excellent transfer even at high humidity and when a transfer material having high hygroscopicity is used, by providing a transfer material conveying means of guiding a transfer material to a transfer position and a dehumidifying means of dehumidifying the transfer material perior to transfer. CONSTITUTION:A transfer material P in a cassette is fed by a roll 17 into a machine and synchronized with an image on a drum 14 through timing rolls 18 to reach a drying roll 19. The roll 19 consists of rolls 19a-19c each having an incorporated heater. The transfer material P while passing between the metallic center roll 19a and heat-resisting rubber lower roll 19b is pressed and heated, and conveyed by a conveying belt 21 rolling on a suction device 20 to reach a transfer roll 22. To the transfer material P sucked to the transfer roll 22 by a discharger 22, a dust figure on the drum 14 is transferred. Since the transfer material is dehumidified sufficiently prior to the transfer, excellent image transfer is achieved. |
