PURPOSE:To generate spurious error signals of various modes in positions of arbitrary bits, and test the automatic correction function of a storage device quickly by providing a pulse generating circuit, a spurious correction signal output circuit, etc. on a card. CONSTITUTION:A ring counter circuit 11, a pulse generating circuit 8 generating pulses by means of manual switch circuits 13-16, a ring counter driving control circuit 9 driving the above-mentioned circuits 8, 13-16, and the circuit 11 in accordance with the signal from the outside, an output control circuit 10, and a spurious error signal output circuit 12 are provided on a card. With this card held inserted in the space position of the printed circuit board of a storage device, spurious error signals are generated fixedly with respect to one bit given by the output of the circuit 11 or only for the predetermined period in accordance with the switch operations of the circuits 13-16. |
