This invention consists of the manufacture of rolls 12 by, on a rotationally-powered core sleeve 32, rolling up material paths 6, 7 which are positioned one on top of the other and which are joined by means of adhesive, one 6 of which is corrugated, i.e., has transversal ridges 10. The winding is performed between two ends 26, 27 rotating together with the core sleeve 32, of which at least one 26 is powered. At least one of them, preferably the corrugated material path 7 is squeezed during the winding between the two ends so that they are moved by these while the adhesive hardens. The wound roll 12 is heated to a temperature at which the adhesive again becomes liquid and then is allowed to cool. The connection between the two paths 6, 7 becomes strong. <IMAGE> |
