PURPOSE:To decide a reduction rate by a visual decision, and to solve inconvenience of a device for setting it manually, by constituting so that the reduction rate is decided automatically from size of an original which has been read by a reader, and is transferred. CONSTITUTION:A read data SD not only is written in a memory 7 without being data-compressed through a write controlling circuit 6 but also is data-compressed to 1/2 and 1/3 in the X and Y directions by compressing circuits 8, 11, respectively. Also, a moving pulse HSC in the X direction, which has been divided by a frequency-dividing circuit 24 is counted by a measuring counter 25, and is stored as a moving distance data. Subsequently, when read of an original 2 has ended, a read end signal END is outputted from a read controlling circuit 4, and is applied to a print controlling circuit 5. The circuit 5 compares the moving distance data with a reference value of size of a graphic data which can be stored in memories 7, 10, and selects the memories 7, 10 and 13 in accordance with its comparison result, reads out their storage data and supplies them to a printer 14. |
