PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically indicate the time for introduction of specimen, by detecting variation of output signal of a gas chromatograph or a liquid chromatograph and causing an indicative signal to be emitted when the variation proved to be lower than a prescribed set value. CONSTITUTION:An input of a converting section 2 of an automatic specimen- introducing time indicating device 1 is digitalized by receiving an analog output signal of a chromatograph 6 and read in and memorized every period t. And then, an operating section 3 operates a difference between the just read-in signal value of the chromatograph and a previous output signal value, and the differential value is integrated. The operating section 3 further compares the integrated value with a prescribed set value, and if the integrated value proved to be lower than the set value, a signal is emitted to an indicating device 4. The face that the signal is emitted is to mean that output of the chromatograph is in a stable condition and is ready for introduction of a specimen, and therefore, it is possible to eliminate wasteful waiting time in this manner. |
