PURPOSE:To automatically cancel an absence transfer, by informing a presence state to a control device by inserting a handset into a jack by an operator, and detecting its information by the control device, when registration of the absence transfer is cancelled by an operator's device of a private branch exchange. CONSTITUTION:An incoming call from a trunk line comes into an attendant board BOAD through a trunk line trunk COT, a network NW and an operator's trunk OPT. The incoming call received by this attendant board BOAD is transferred to plural operator's boards ATT through the operator's trunk OPT, and its actual operation is executed by the operator's board ATT. Also, this system is provided with a means for informing to a control device CONT through a scanning devide SCN whether an operator is present or absent in the operator's board ATT, and a lamp of the operator's board ATT is lighted by the control device CONT in accordance with the present or absent information. On the circuit of this operator's board ATT, a jack J is provided, and when an operator inserts a handset into the jack J, an AW relay is operated, a loop is formed between teminals A, B, the presence is informed to the control device CONT, and the absence transfer is released automatically. |
