PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of a surfboard by a method wherein a space for containing a fuel tank at a rear part of the surfboard is formed in an L shape and the tank itself is also formed in an L shae so that the center of gravity of the tank is lowered when a fuel is charged into tank. CONSTITUTION:An engine chamber 12 is formed at a ridge part 6 of the rear part of the surfboard 1, and an engine 14 is mounted on a square engine mount box 13 which is placed on the bottom 12a of the chamber 12. An L-shaped space 52 is formed by the bottom 12a of the chamber 12, a front wall part 12b of the chamber 12 and a cover 15, and the fuel tank 53 formed in an L shape which is substantially the same as that of the space 52 is contained in the space 52 through a pad 54. Accordingly, when the tank 53 is filled with a flue, the center of gravity of the tank 53 is located at a lower position, thereby enhancing the stability of the surfboard 1 as well as the stability of the tank 53 itself. |
