PURPOSE:To improve the metal vapor depsition irregularities of the filament obtained by providing a tapered pin to a shaft in proximity to a die in a twisting part, and converging and twisting wires with the leading end of the tapered pin held inserted into the through-hole of the dies. CONSTITUTION:A tapered pin 21 is provided to a shaft 11 via a fixing jig 20 extending on the extension line thereof near a die 19 in a twisting part. The leading end of the pin 21 is inserted into the through-hole 191 of the die 19 which is in alignment to the revolving shaft. The metallic pin 21 of about 20mm. and of high mechanical strength is used. In twisting, two pieces of wires 14 drawn out from the respective spools fixed on barrels are converged at one point on the pin, and the wires 14 and the pin 21 are inserted into the through- hole 191 of the die 19, thence the die 19 is moved to the shaft 11 side by about 5mm. from the part where twisting beings. The twisting state changes with the converging positions of the wires 14 on the pin 21. |
