PURPOSE:To increase the lubricity and fixing power of a metallic pin by implanting the pin in a plastic substrate for a timepiece after forming an electroless composite plated film having a prescribed thickness. CONSTITUTION:A plated layer having about 6mum thickness is formed on a brass pin by electroless complex plating. That is, the metallic pin is coated with the plated layer having the uniform thickness by electroless plating while suspending and dispersing insoluble fine particles with wear resistance or self-lubricity in an electroless Ni plating bath. The electroless plating gives a composite coprecipitate of Ni and the fine particles in a constant ratio on all of materials such as ferrous metal, nonferrous metal and plastics. Thus, characteristics such as superior wear resistance, lubricity, hardness, corrosion resistance and heat resistance are provided. |
