PURPOSE:To improve the strength of a leaf spring reinforced by fiber for a car, by arranging in a multilayer reinforced long fibers extending longitudinally on its upper superficial portion which is put under tensile stress and reinforced fiber woven in a cross on the lower superficial portion. CONSTITUTION:An upper superficial portion 1a which is put under tensile stress is given tensile strength by arranging reinforced fiber 2 of long fiber extending in the longitudinal direction of a leaf spring on it, and a lower superficial portion 1b is given large compressive strength by arranging multilayer reinforced fiber 3 woven in a cross. Furthermore, reinforced fiber which is adequately strong is arranged on the central portion 1c. |
