PURPOSE:To enhance water intake efficiency and contrive to enhance steaming property by a method wherein a vane wheel is suspended from the lower end of a crankshaft and a central part of a casing for the vane wheel is communicated to a water intake port opened at a surfboard beneath the central part, in a system having an engine provided at a rear part of a surfboard. CONSTITUTION:An engine chamber 12 is provided at a raised part 6 of the rear part of the surfboard 1, a square engine mount box 13 is placed at the bottom of the chamber 12 and the engine 14 is mounted on the box 13. The crankshaft 21 for the the engine 14 is disposed vertically, and the vane wheel 46 is supported at the engine 14 is disposed vertically, and the vane wheel 46 is supported at the lower end of the crankshaft 21. The central part of the casing 45 for the vane wheel 46 is communicated to the water intake port 47 opened in the surfbaord 1 beneath the central part. In addition, a jet nozzle 48 extends to a nozzle outlet 49 at a lower part of the rear end of hood 7. |
