PURPOSE:To retain ink jet heads at a correct position with an easy mounting thereof to the body by enabling the movement of the heads and an ink feeder together with a stopper for regulating the moving range thereof. CONSTITUTION:With a switch on, driven by a motor, a housing 301 advances on a guide rail 302 and further toward a recording paper. A multi-array type ink jet head and an ink feeder are fixed on the housing 301. The advance of the housing 301 is made depending on the pushing by a washer 307 on a nut 305 moving over a driving screw 304. To reduce errors of the advancing position due to inertial force of the head, the washer is elastically supported with a spring 306 whereby the housing 301 is retained butting against a stopper 303. |
