PURPOSE:To provide an inking device which is capable of positively forming multi type ink drops by the adoption of such a system wherein an ink is connected to an ink jet head through a pipe and said tank is equipped with plural internal containers which are all interconnected through check valves. CONSTITUTION:As an ink chamber 202 is pressurized by a pressurizing pump 207 with valves 212, 213 kept opened, a check valve 205 installed to a conducting pipe 204 is closed and ink is forced to fill up a multi-nozzle ink jet head 233 through a connecting hole 210, a connecting groove 218 and a relay chamber 227, etc. This pressurization is continued until ink is forced to flow into an ink chamber 203 through a pipe 232, a relay chamber 228 and a connecting groove 219, etc., and a flow passage between ink chambers 202 and 203 is filled up with ink. Subsequently when pressurization is stopped, the check valve 205 is opened, and the level of ink in the chamber 203 becomes equal to that of the chamber 202. Under this condition, ink is discharged. |
