PURPOSE:To obtain the polyimide film suitable for the covering of the elctric wire etc., by preventing cutting at the ear part, by peeling off the self-supporting polyamide acid gel film from the substrate, fixing to the preheated fixture, then heat treating. CONSTITUTION:The organic solvent solution of polyamide acid as the predecessor of polyimide shown in formula (e.g. DMF solution of concentration of solid component; 10-40wt% and viscosity; 200-50,000p etc.) is applied on the metal drum or the metal belt of which temperature is 60-200 deg.C and dried. The obtained self-supporting polyamide acid gel film is peeled off from the substrate and the both ends of said gel film are fixed above 60 deg.C, preferably by the fixture having the shape of the pin sheet etc. which is heated over the temperature of said film wheb being attached to the fixture, and heat treated in the drying oven, then, slit and wound up as the polyimide film. |
