PURPOSE:To provide a titled producing device which coils a thin strip at a high speed on a power ree easily by means of centrigugal force by ejecting molten metal through a moving nozzle on a cooling roller. CONSTITUTION:Metal is inserted into a moving nozzle 1, an is heated to melt with a coil 2 for high frequency heating. Next, the moten metal is ejected through the nozzle 1 onto a cooling roller 4 by means of a gas ejection mechanism mounted to a moving nozzle elevating cylinder 3. At this same instant, a furnace moving mechanism 5 is moved horizontally in the axial direction of the roller 4. As result, the molten metal is ejected and cooled to a thin metallic strip 7 which is coiled on a power reel 6 of the peripheral speed about the same as that of the roller 4. In the figure, 8 denotes a safety cover, 8 a mechanism for aligning the off-centering of paired rollers, 10 a threaded shaft of the machanism 5, and 11 a bearing, respectively. |
