<p>The system secures a nut to a sheet-metal component, the nut having a thread in a base-plate with lateral holding tongues inserted in a stamped-out portion of the sheet-metal. The tongues are in the plane of the baseplate. The stamped-out portion is formed by a rib (4), wider than the nut (3) at the tongues (6). The latter are so shaped that they distort on passing the rib, and then snap back into their original shape. They can be bent in the form of a half-wave, the edge of which bears against the rib in the inserted position.</p> |
