The arrangement for controlling the heater valves of central heating systems with room thermostats which regulate the valves provides simple, economical, energy saving individual control of valves of heating elements with indiVidual temp. regulating thermostats. Each thermostat (11) is associated with an element (12), e.g. a heating element, which provides or extracts heat. The supply to or extraction from the elements of heat is controllable by switching the elements on and off. The individual elements are individually controllable by the thermostats via a central controller (15) according to a predetermined control program. The heating elements may be electrical resistance elements attached to temp. sensors in thermostats and, heated by electrical voltages. The control may involve varying switching duty cycles.
|
