<p>A dial display, esp. a parking disc for vehicles, has a manually rotatable indicator needle, and a concentric display dial with radial scale markings. It can be simply operated and permanently mounted in a protected position in the vehicle. Two pointers and two dial indicator displays (3,9) may be mounted back to back and separated both axially and by a defined lateral offset. Each pointer has an associated gear wheel (29,31) which is concentric with it. Both gear wheels are of equal dia. and mesh together . One gear wheel (31) carries an adjustment knob (15). The indicator elements may be in the form of adjustable plates (5,11) with circular limits arranged in circular cut-outs (21-23) of the display dials (3,9). The apertures contain drilled webs (33,35) for mounting the gear wheels.</p> |
