Integrally formed on the inside of the bin opening is a collar which projects upwards and serves as an abutment for a collar which is arranged on the lid, projects downwards, engages behind the first collar when the lid is loaded and thus prevents the bin wall from bulging. Furthermore, a counterbearing is allocated to an annular bearing, which is integrally formed on the inside of the bin edge and is intended for the bin lid, the counterbearing being arranged above said lid and likewise being annular. The counterbearing reaches over the edge of the lid and thus secures the lid against being unintentionally released from the bin opening.
