<p>The edge protector is for a cleaning hose (3) to be lowered into the sewer (5) through a manhole (4) in a device for cleaning sewers. The protector is in the form of a sleeve (8) fastened to a retaining cable (9), with the hose movably passing through it. The internal surface of the protector is at least partially covered by a sliding layer. The sleeve can have a prescribed curvature, with this layer located at least on the surface half with smallest radius; the layer can comprise strips of PTFE.</p> |
