<p>The vehicles are supplied from a current feed embedded in the ground and comprising a pair of mutually insulated conductors (5,6). The lower conductor (5) fits in the bottom of the guide slot which is closed at the top by the upper conductor (6). The upper conductor is diVided into separate longitudinal sections (6a,6b,6c,6d) which are insulated from one another and which are separately coupled to the lower conductor (5) via the transport vehicle (1). The length (a) of each of these sections (6a,6b,6c,6d) is less than half the length (L) of each of the transport vehicles (1). Pref. the conductors (5,6) are enclosed by a hollow profiled insulating rail embedded in the ground.</p> |
