发明名称 MEASURING METHOD FOR BACK-UP ROLL CROWN OF FOUR-STAGE ROLLING MILL
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To enable measurement at high accuracy in a short time in measuring back-up roll crown of a four-stage rolling mill by measuring the touch roll mill constant at the time of fitting work rolls and calculating total crown therefrom, and subtracting known work roll crown. CONSTITUTION:In a four-stage rolling mill consisting of upper and lower work rolls 10, 12 and back-up rolls 14, 16 change of mill constant as a slope of a mill spring curve that represents interrelation between variation of clearance of work rolls from a noload state A to touch roll B and the load is determined beforehand. Next, the mill constant immediately after recombination of work rolls of the rolling mill is measured and total crown is calculated in correspondence with this value to above-mentioned mill constant. By subtracting known work roll crown from this value, the amount of crown of back-up rolls can be measured at high accuracy.</p>
