<p>In the case wherein each of the function blocks of a digital control unit transmits and receives signals from a computer processing unit (MPU) through an address bus (ABUS) and a data bus (DBUS) shift registers (SH1), (SH2) convert a parallel signal into a serial signal, transmitting devices (TX11), (TX12) convert an electrical signal into an optical signal and transmit the optical signal to a pulse distributing device (PON) of each function block through optical fiber cables (OF1), (OF2), then receiving devices (RX3), (RX4) convert the optical signal back into an electrical signal, after that, shift registers (SHR3), (SHR4) convert the serial signal back into a parallel signal, and the parallel signal is input to a pulse distributing device (PD) as a position signal corresponding to the X, Y and Z coordinates of a machine tool to drive a servo-motor.</p> |
