PURPOSE:To obtain a cleaning member that has a simple structure and a cleaning surface always cleaned and causing no damage or abrasion of the surface of rollers by providing plural holes on the sheet-shaped member to arrange said member to a fixing roller by press-contact. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning member 4 is in contact by pressure with the outer circumferential surface of a silicone rubber roller 3 of a fixing device, and a collecting receiver 5 is arranged thereunder. The cleaning member 4 consists of a metallic foil (electroform product of nickel) in the shape of a sheet having a number of holes 6 or a polyimide film or the like with several punching holes. The cleaning member 4 scrapes off the toner T attached to the surface of the silicone rubber roller 3 by the edge part 6a of the hole 6 facing to the moving direction of the roller 3. The toner T passes through the hole 6 to be accumulated in the noncontacting area side 4b of the receiver 5 by the vibration or the like owing to the revolution of the roller 3. |
