PURPOSE:To fit a head assembly safely, by the mounting to the entire device through fitting a tool restricting gimbal springs to a head assembly supporting a plurality of magnetic head elements to one arm via the gimbal springs. CONSTITUTION:A clipping part 51 of a pair of 1st plate bodies 50 of a tool clips spacers 31, 32 of a head assembly, and a pair of 2nd plate bodies 60 clip a part near magnetic head elements 11, 12 of gimbal springs 21, 22 so that it is attached to an arm 40. With this state, after loading the head assembly to a magnetic disc main body, the tool is removed. Thus, the head assembly can be fitted safely without giving damage to the gimbal springs 21, 22 and magnetic head elements 11, 12. |
