CONNECTION PART OF OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a connection part for the optical fiber cables to which the number of the optical fibers are increased for storage wth no complication, by fixing a protecting case that stores the fibers stored in a sleeve after laminating such cases in plural stages. CONSTITUTION:The optical fibers 1b and 2b obtained by removing the outer coats 1a and 2a at the edge parts of optical fiber cables 1 and 2 are connected to each other at a splicing part 3. These fibers are coiled in a loop form to be stored into a protecting case 5 consisting of both side plates 4a and 4a plus a bottom plate 4b. The case 5 storing the fibers 1b and 2b is laminated in five stages, and an upper plate 8 having the same form as the plate 4 is put over the highest stage.
