PURPOSE:To facilitate the retrieval of a data base by performing full-screen display on the screen of a display device for the logical constitution diagram of a relative data base in accordance with user's indications, and by retrieving the data base over a look at the logical constitution diagram. CONSTITUTION:A user looks at the logical constitution drawing IMG of a data base displayed on the screen of a display device 1 and inputs a retrieval instruction. On receiving the retrieval instruction like this, a screen control part 2 passes it to a main control part 3, which decodes the retrieval instruction to send the result to a data base control part 4. This control part 4 performs retrieval on its retrieval condition to send an indication to a data-base logical constitution control part 5, thus obtaining a data base logical constitution diagram after the retrieval. |
